PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The Westlink Library Branch in Wichita Kansas launched their library telescope program in July 2021 with 15 telescopes. The program is proving popular with over 100 library patrons on the waiting list to checkout a telescope. The library will discuss the opportunities and challenges of implementing and operating the library telescope program in pandemic times and the role that the Kansas Astronomical Observers played in making the program a success.
