More than 500 libraries in the USA and other countries have a program for patrons to checkout a telescope, just like a book. Wantagh Public Library in Wantagh, New York and Anacortes Public Library in Anacortes, Washington will share their library's experiences with launching and supporting the library telescope program, and the program's popularity with patrons.
